A native of Cleveland, Todd has taught at various clubs in northern Ohio and is currently the Director of Instruction at Barrington Golf Club in Aurora, Ohio. In 2018, Todd opened his indoor teaching facility to help student’s build a competitive advantage on the summer. Featuring TrackMan Simulators, his Golf Academy utilizes the best in cutting edge technology to train his students and provide step by step approach to off season excellence during Ohio’s winter/inclement weather, while allowing a place for both students and members to practice and fine tune their golf swing. Before coming to Barrington, Todd taught at the Mike Bender Golf Academy in Lake Mary, Florida after holding the Lead Instructor role at The Golf Digest Schools at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando. While at MBGA, Todd was the Tour Prep Coach for aspiring tour players and also assisted Mike with golf schools, junior programs and private lessons for all ages and skill levels.
But, Todd is much more than a swing instructor: He takes great pride on being a coach who can develop his students in all areas of the game. Placing emphasis on performance development, he uses programs like DECADE for golf course management and Mental Golf Type for mental and emotional behavior. To round out his holistic approach to total golf training, Todd also partners with local athletic trainers and club fitters to provide unparalleled golf athletic training and custom fit equipment. Todd Casabella brings a unique approach to golf instruction, based in biomechanics and analytics. As a recipient of the Northern Ohio PGA Teacher of the Year Award (2017) and the NOPGA Professional Development Award (2020,2022), Todd is focused on what he is most passionate about: helping others play better golf.
